What these videos are
Every article on this site has a two-page At A Glance sheet behind it: the facts, dates, and figures pulled out of the full piece and laid out so a family can print it and carry it into a meeting. These videos are those sheets in moving form.
They exist because of when caregiving actually happens. Reading three thousand words of policy analysis at eleven at night, after a day that went sideways, is not realistic for most families. Watching the short version while dinner cooks is.
Each one covers the same ground as its article: the rule or the change in question, who it applies to, the dates that matter, and what a family can do next. Same facts, same sources, shorter form.
How they are made
The article comes first. It is written, sourced, and checked, and only then is the overview produced from the finished piece. Nothing appears in a video that is not in the article it came from. The AI disclosure in the site footer explains the production process in full, because families reading about their own kids deserve to know how the material in front of them was made.
If you would rather read, every subject here exists as a full article. If you would rather have paper in your hand at an appointment, the printable two-page sheets are on the @ A Glance page, and the audio versions are on @ A Glance Audio.
